Great Tent

Mountain Hardwear Viperine 3 Tent 3-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 5 July 27, 2009

Bought this tent to upgrade our 2-man backpacking tent. We also have a 4-man old car-camping tent that started leaking 2 months ago while in Moab, UT.

We took our 2 1/2 year old son back-packing for the first time in the Colorado back-country with this tent. He loved it. We love the length and height of this tent. It even rained during dinner, so I sat in the vestibule in a therma-rest chair and ate, while my wife and son sat in the tent. Plenty of room for all three of us to sit and eat in the rain.

I was amazed at the small size and light weight of this tent. Perfect for our Colorado family of three.
