Used on Rainier 4 day Emmons in August. Excellent value.Bought for 3 persons, as weight to space ratio was our primary consideration. Our 2nd rope had a 12 lb Sierra Designs tent- ugh! It was more tent than we needed for August, which gives confidence for future use. Make sure you get some snow anchors as the stakes that come with it are puny and useless in snow. We put 2 packs at each side up front and one in the back, plus boots - the vestibules are excellent. Also the front vestibule design lets it easily fold back to the tent door during the day when you don't need it (see pic). It doesn't pack small, so get a bag with laces up the side to suck it down to fit in your pack (I used an old school sleeping bag compression sack and it worked perfect). Also if you are 6'8" - you may have trouble sitting up inside unless you're in the center. The 2 side poles bent a little after about 3 times setting it up but they seem OK. You can only notice it when they are lying out straight. 4 pockets on the sides hold the basics in case you need to get up at night. The floor was a little damp in the morning, pack towel came in handy for that. The walls never got wet.Backcountry reviews on this page sold me on the tent - had to write my own. Nothing is perfect, but this is close to it. Looking forward to backcountry skiing weekends this winter.

Used this for 4 day Emmons, stayed at Emmons flats. Melted/boiled a lot of snow. Worked perfect. No temperature issues but it didn't get below 29 F while we used it. Used every last lick of gas in the canisters. We set it on a pad to keep the canister from welding itself to the snow. For 3 persons, melted/boiled snow for cooking/drinking for 3 days and used exactly 1 small and one large canister with a couple drips to spare. At the end we were just melting and not boiling. Should have brought an extra canister with us. I'd say a small can will supply 3 persons for one day and nothing more if you are melting snow. If you are having temperature issues make sure you are using isobutane and not just butane.

I bought the small jetboil and this, used them both at home before leaving - the jetboil is not even in the MSR's league. Don't buy a jetboil unless you just wanna make coffee. You can feed people with the MSR Reactor.

Good pants. Kept me dry. No tears in 4 day Emmons with a bit of glissading on the way home. Good leg bottom velcro to suck it in below your gators. Didn't chafe with the harness. Good long tab for hooking to laces on bottom. Wish they had a front pocket. Black is hot in summer! Thanks to full leg zips you can vent, just remember to close them before you glissade or you'll have a wet bum when they fill up.

Good quality. Light. Tough enough to survive banging around in a pack for days on end. didn't fit with any of my kit so put my emergency bivy sack in it. Get this and a spork and you're set.

Nice and light, wears well with long underwear, easy to climb in. No need whatsoever to spend more on a fancier name brand. Fit chart was spot on.

Better than wearing something from Lids. Comfortable to sweat in, fits well under a helmet without chafing. Easy to adjust. Wish it had a zip on/off neck towl.

Great piece of kit. Used on Rainier in August. Only one day below freezing, but it worked fine with my 0 degree down back and without any other insulation/protection. Might want a little more protection if it gets toward zero. Takes a couple minutes to blow up but I was glad to have my soda-can sized pad vs. some of the rolls hanging under other people's packs. Good value.
