New Year's surprise

Hestra Heli Glove

Hestra Heli Glove

Rating for this product: 5 January 2, 2011

Hit the slopes at Sundance ski resort in UT on new years eve with my son, and it was breezy and 7 deg F in the parking lot. His hands were numb by lunch, so I gave him my decent gloves and went to the shop for some new ones.

I started looking at the $39 gloves, and worked my way up to these Hestras. Never heard of them before, but couldn't believe how nicely they fit (esp for large hands). These blew away the others.

Back on the slopes, these were incredibly warm and comfortable, and even after removing them several times to fiddle with my iPhone, and several spills in powder, they didn't give in at all. My hands had never been this comfortable before, especially on a single-digit day.

I've never spent this much for gloves before, but haven't regretted it for a second.
