CamelBak Tube Trap

CamelBak Tube Trap

Rating for this product: 5 July 13, 2009

I attached the tube trap on a standard 3/4 inch horizontal webbing strap on my shoulder. Using in conjunction with an ergo angle, it allows hands free operation. I set it up so it's sitting just below my chin so when i need a drink and my hands are busy, I just tilt my head down slightly, bite on the big bite valve and my thirst is quenched.

CamelBak Ergo Angles

CamelBak Ergo Angles

Rating for this product: 4 July 13, 2009

good product. in my eyes much better than the ergo hydrolock. in the hydrolock the yellow valve kept snagging and ripping off due to a poor design. the more simpler ergo angle eliminates this, however takes out the on/off feature. i found there was no problems with leaking using the big bite valve on the end of the ergo angle, however when you take your gear off make sure the big bite vavle doesnt end up on the ground under the camelbak as it will leak. maybe a design improvement would be to make the egro angle a standard 'click in' accessory to allow users to utilise the standard on/off valve on every camelbak.
overall though I am happy with the purchase and the product does the job that it was intended for
