Some people think this helmet doesn't look cool...but it looks a lot cooler than a head wound, and when you are on the side of a sick cliff in the middle of Tazmania....I think it looks pretty cool.

Sean Leary and I made the first free ascent of the Porcelain Wall..onsite in a day, and plugged in a lot of camalots along the way. These cams are the shiznit what more can I say. They are worth every penny that you have to pay.

Renan and I spent a few weeks on the glacier in The Ruth Gorge in this rig and we stayed high and dry. At one point a storm had us tentbound, a little delirious and inspired to create a mural on the ceiling of the tent.

I prefer these to dynex because if you happen to whip on one which is of course highly dangerous....they have slightly more give.

I would go with the Tahoe...I find it VERY durable, and I'm not a big fan of detachable hoods.

The smedge rubber is quite durable and designed quite well for the hardcore scramble factor and I really like the mix of stiffness so you don't beat your feet on the taluse mixed with enough sensitivity to smear when your life depends on it....good stuff!!!

Yes these definitely fit in a mens size, and I've found that they fit slightly tighter than the anasazi velcro if that helps!! For a womans foot there is also the anasazi low volume! A great shoe!

I've been climbing a lot in this harness lately, and really appreciate the way it strikes the balance between comfort and lightweight design. The gear loops are great for a quick clip...and most importantly, because the waistband and leg loops are a single piece instead of padding over webbing like most harnesses, weight is more evenly distributed over a wider area. You really will be amazed at how great this harness feels after an hour of hangdogging the proj...if you do that sort of thing!
