  • Bio:

Next on my list of things to master: rock climbing. I just got new shoes. All I have to do now is find a teacher. Anyone? Anyone?
Other than that, I love summertime because of everything you can do outside. If it has to be winter, at least I get to snowboard - which I love to do.

La Sportiva Mantis Climbing Shoe

La Sportiva Mantis Climbing Shoe

Rating for this product: 4 July 21, 2009

The La Sportiva Mantis are my first pair of climbing shoes and I am pretty happy with them. I used them for my first real climb the other day and they feel great. I bought them small because everyone says to buy them small, so they were definitely tight and my feet feel a little cramped in them, but if they stretch just a little bit they will be perfect.

Adventure Medical Heatsheets Emergency Blanket

Adventure Medical Heatsheets Emergency Blanket

Rating for this product: 5 June 30, 2009

I got this to replace an old space blanket I had that kind of fell apart when I had to use it when I got caught in a rain storm. This one seems way more durable, compact, light, and totally worth the 3 dollars. I definitely recommend buying one and keeping it with you on hikes and campouts. You never know when you might need it. And it's bright orange. What could be better.

Sigg Traveler 1.0L Bottle

Sigg Traveler 1.0L Bottle

Rating for this product: 5 June 30, 2009

I can appreciate this bottle. My friend got one, loved it, so I decided to get one and see how I liked it. It's great. Way easier to drink out of than a Nalgene bottle. I always spill on myself when I drink from Nalgenes. The Sigg is great though. 5 stars

Chaco ZX/2 Unaweep Sandal - Backcountry.com Exclusive - Women's

I'm in the same boat. But I got an 8 in this shoe and they fit better than the 7. I think I have fat feet too, so the bigger size is more comfortable on the straps too.

Ahnu Lodi WB Shoe - Women's

Ahnu Lodi WB Shoe - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 June 8, 2009

These are really comfortable and good shoes, but the pully cinch tie thing broke the 5th time I wore them. Maybe I'm just too strong, but I don't think that should happen! I'll probably stick to regular lace-up boots from now on..
