Asolo TPS 520 GV Boot - Men's

Asolo TPS 520 GV Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 15, 2011

Ive had these bad boys for 6 years now!!! I have used them from every application from mountaineering in 3 feet of snow to hunting to just pure backpacking! This year i didn't have any mountaineering boots and was running short on money and figured my ASOLO'S where just gonna have to do. i was extremely suprized when they held up and kept my feet dryer then some of my buddies mountaineering boots. Ive used these hunting and backpacking so many times you couldn't count....They still completely water proof the only real show of wear is a bunch of scuff marks but hey there boots....makes u look cool!

Mammut Granite GTX Hiking Boot - Men's

Mammut Granite GTX Hiking Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 June 16, 2011

Recieved these baby in the mail last week. First Impression: There light as hell (compared to my scarpas and asolos)! There super comfotable and the support on these shoes where beyond my expectaions (which is high). I orginally bought this bott just for day hike sort stuff or just on night out. But Im planning to use them backpacking too. Anyways i took them out on a one day hike in the sawtooths here in idaho. My feet where comfortable the whole time. I was able to climb up some nearly verticle rocks with no problem what so ever. Took them in a couple puddles, didnt get wet at all. All i can say is these things are the BOMB!

Mountain Hardwear Trango 3.1 Tent 3-Person 4-Season

Rating for this product: 5 May 15, 2011

My dad purchesed the first modle of this tent in 1994. This tent has had the living crap beat out of it for 17 years. We still have it and we still use it....the only problem is we gte just a little leakedge from the floor on winter campouts.

Best tent you could ever by right behind hilleberg!

Not so great

MSR Hubba Hubba Tent 2-Person 3-Season

MSR Hubba Hubba Tent 2-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 2 May 15, 2011

Ive had this tent for just about two years now. The first time i took it out, it performed flawlessly! However after about the 3rd outing the floor started to leek water(even with a footprint). I also took it out and camped neer some sand dunnes. I set up the tent put the fly on and whent and did some hiking. Later that night when i went to crawl into my tent, I noticed i couldnt even see my sleeping bag because there was so much sand coming into the tent. Then I figured out that the vestibule sits fairly high off the ground. so I had to go gather up some card board and place it around the tent, just so i could sleep. Bottom line, this is not worth your money. Really if you want a high quality backpacking tent go for a Big Agnus copper spur tent. Its very light weight, there is alot more room and its definatly more durable!!

MSR Hubba Hubba Tent 2-Person 3-Season

MSR Hubba Hubba Tent 2-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 2 June 9, 2009

I purchased this tent in may of last year. i decided to go with this tent cause it won the backpackers magazine award thing. But i think i was wrong. it is a very lite tent but its stuff size is big which then i have to put on the outside of my pack which ways my pack to one side and the fly design is int very snug so in wind it flaps really bad and u cant go to sleep. i also tested this out at Bruno sand dunes in Idaho (note i did not sleep on the dune i slept in one of there camp ground things) and the sand came right up under the fly and went through the mesh. When i woke up at about two in the morning my tent was full of sand and when i say full i mean i couldn't see my sleeping partner. all my gear was full of sand. But now i see they make a msr hubba hubba hp with not as much mess which is an improvement. another problem that i have is that after just one year the bottom of the tent has leeks in it. if your looking for a good two person tent go with the marmot crib 2.
