Nalgene Wide Mouth Tritan Bottle - 32oz

May 17, 2012

Nalgene also makes a splashguard, I'm pretty sure you can buy it from their website. Not as decorative as Guyot's but they look like they'd work.

Sea To Summit Delta Insulated Mug

May 16, 2012

Does the lid screw on? Could I attach the mug to my pack via a carabiner through the loop on the lid, or would the cup fall off?

great, but bigger than expected

Eagle Creek Pack-It Cube

Rating for this product: 4 April 7, 2012

I ordered this hoping for something to keep my change of clothes from getting too mussed in my pack, and it ended up being bigger than I expected. So, in the picture I uploaded I fit all this into the packing cube:

swimsuit, board shorts, short-sleeved rash guard, spare bra/underwear, coverup dress, pak-towel, toiletries kit, sunscreen, headlamp, bandana, and teva flip-flops.

This, my friends, is a lot of stuff. I think I'll order the half-cube to fulfill my original purpose, but I'll hang on to this one too because I can see it being useful to segregate my personal gear from group gear for backpacking.
I gave it a four because I haven't seen how it will hold up to wear yet, but I'll bump it up to a five if it wears well.

100% pure awesome

Teva Olowahu Sandal - Womens

Teva Olowahu Sandal - Womens

Rating for this product: 5 June 29, 2009

These shoes have survived 3 years of tough love, and look like the day I bought them (except for the soles, which are sort of over-molded to my feet by now). They are bliss to walk in and I could even run my cool-downs in them after track meets. They fit my slightly narrow foot perfectly.

like a dream!

Patagonia Strappy Vitaliti Dress - Women's

Patagonia Strappy Vitaliti Dress - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 June 4, 2009

What an awesome dress! Comfortable, cool, wears like iron. I only wish that it came in a shorter length, since I'm 5'4 and it comes below my knees. That would make it perfect. For the record, I weigh 105 and the XS fits great, maybe a bit loose in the chest area. The neckline's great - not too frumpy, not too low, and the armholes that people complain about fit my small shoulders beautifully.

great, but take getting used to!

Chaco Z/2 Unaweep Sandal - Women's

Chaco Z/2 Unaweep Sandal - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 June 4, 2009

I tried these on at the store and liked them, but the first time I wore them I cut my feet to bits and the toe-straps strangled my big toes. The fourth time I wore them I loved them.

Here's my biggest tip: tighten the straps to the tightness that seems intuitive, them give the straps an extra half inch to and inch. Since I've done that, and put band-aids on the top inside edge of my foot where the straps cross, these shoes have been great. I love the zebra aqua color! I can't wait to wear them hiking or canoeing, instead of just out on errands.
