Currently I am serving in the U.S. Army so that's what gets me up in the morning LOL. At the time I am serving in Iraq and working to build a wall for my unit and base here. My love of climbing goes all the way back to when I was a child. I was always outside all over the mountains, rocks, bluffs, caves, and other fun stuff. I never really did too much actual climbing when it comes to using climbing techniques, but I have plenty of experience in getting past some pretty tough spots on the side of a mountain or on a ledge in a cave. I have to say that the best places I have ever climbed or looked at climb-ability would have to be up in the Great Smokey Mountains. Plenty to do out there.

Great Shoe

Evolv Evo Climbing Shoe

Evolv Evo Climbing Shoe

Rating for this product: 4 July 16, 2009

This is a great sho for both indoor and outdoor climbing. I have had them for almost a year and they are still nice. The toe is great for catching jibs and the heel is awesome for heel-hooking. Good solid, stiff shoe. Just don't try to do walk too far in them because they do tend to hurt the feet when you do. Oober comfortable while on the wall though.
The guy who recommended these to me is a competition pro and even owns his own climbing team. He said the only way you can get much better than these is a top-end La Sportiva shoe, but that also comes with a top-end La Sportiva price.
