Well the width across is 5.4" So just little bit less than that. Somewhere around 5"

Not if you have exceptionally wide feet. These are more of a medium/standard fit. I would search for something that specifically comes in a wide option. That may suit your needs better.

It is not a micro fleece. If you check out this link you can zoom up really close and see just what the fabric looks like. It looks like it almost has that wool look and hand to it.

Salomon does fit wider than most footwear brands. However if you have "really wide" feet then I would suggest searching for a boot that specifically comes in a wide fitting option.
