Got these baby's for my boyfriend. He loves 'em. They are light weight, but stay on your head. His first pair were Von Zipper Kickstands, which were nice until he wanted some glasses that were a little bit bigger. The only thing is that the plastic arm is really thin, and at first were a bit uncomfortable when they rested on top of his ears. He swears they don't hurt anymore though.

The Metric

Nixon Metric Leather Watch - Women's

Nixon Metric Leather Watch - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 June 8, 2009

I got the black Metric Nixon watch with the stainless steel band/bracelet, instead of the leather band. Ordered it through whiskeymilitia.com, who got it from backcountry.com. These two sites have the BEST deals for Nixon watches by the way... Forget paying retail at the mall!! The watch is very classy. It is my second Nixon watch; my first is the Chalet. The Metric looks really professional at work (I work in an office), but also is casual enough to wear outside the work place. As you can see in the pictures, if you are looking for a watch that you can tell what EXACT time it is, this is not for you, because there are no numbers or lines to tell time. It does have a second hand though. When the watch was delivered to me, it was wrapped in plenty of plastic, but to my dismay, the bracelet had tiny scratches on it. May have been a previous return, or floor model. But I am too lazy to return it, and the scratches are so tiny, so I let it slide. The face of the watch is beautiful and free of scratches. If you prefer bigger, bulkier watches like me, you'll love this watch. It's big, but still won't be mistaken as a man's watch.
