Bio:
I grew up in Utah and have been exploring it since I was a baby. I love to Mt Bike, climb, backpack, snowboard and summit mountains.
My greatest adventure has been fatherhood. I am married to a beautiful and adventurous woman and we have been blessed with two sweet but tough baby girls. We get out as often as we can to enjoy the beauty that surrounds us.

Arc'teryx Gamma MX Softshell Jacket - Men's
July 19, 2010
Cillian:
I think you got a great deal. I would much rather own a new 2003 than a new 2010 version of the gamma mx. My wife has a 2003 Gamma MX and I have a 2009 version. By comparison, the 2003 (yours) is a much better jacket. The design is essentially the same, however there are obvious compromises in quality. I like the material in the 2003 better, it seems a bit more heavy duty and it is obviously very durable since my wife has used the jacket a lot over the last 7 years and it is still in great condition. My 2009 on the other hand does not seem as durable. I don't like the mesh pockets on mine. They feel cheap. My wife's pockets are not mesh and are much better quality.
I hope this answers your question and helps you feel 100% confident in your new purchase. I think you will be happy with it and I think you got a great deal.
Enjoy!

Norrøna Bitihorn Lightweight Short - Men's
June 10, 2010
Based on other reviewers description of the Fit of these, your experience with them and my own experience with norrona, I would go with a L. If it doesnt work out or you need a size swap, the backcountry guarantee and service make it easy. Good luck!

Voile SD Mojo Split Snowboard
January 8, 2010
Voile just came out with a new binding that does not need to be mounted to the slide plate, but is integrated with the slide plate instead.
I haven't tried it yet, but it would lighten your setup and looks sick. Would splurge and replace my flows if I had the cha-ching.
I will say that I am happy with my Flow bindings. I use the mid/stuff M-11.

Marmot Bonfire Hooded Fleece Jacket - Men's
January 8, 2010
To scott, the arcteryx covert hoody far outshines the bonfire in fit and quality.
I am 6'3" 200lbs with a 44" chest and got the XL in this. I will be returned. Fit was strange for me.

Voile SD Mojo Split Snowboard
November 20, 2009
Yes mte3312653... I have some super old Ride clickers that I have used on past split boards. You can basically connect any snowboard binding to the plates that are included with the mojo. Good luck and pray for snow!
