Julbo Typhoon Sunglasses - Octopus X3-4 Lens

February 19, 2010

I bought these for my boyfriend and this is his 3rd pair he loves them so much. His head is normal size, but a bit narrow and these fit fantastically - secure for rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, whatever. These are his "go to" glasses for any adventure/activity we are pursuing.

Fun, stylish and comfortable!

Horny Toad Marty Skirt - Women's

Horny Toad Marty Skirt - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 December 15, 2009

Ordered in Red Potato color and its a rich terra-cotta with slight heathering. Very cool, has slight flare, doesn't cling. Packs well, can be dressed up or down. Summer weight - a little thinner fabric than I had hoped (hence only 4 star) so careful with VPL. If it would go on sale ($30+/- range) I would order a second color.

Exactly what I needed!

Columbia Ashtanga II Skirt - Women's

Columbia Ashtanga II Skirt - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 15, 2009

We travel a lot and I needed skirts that are comfy, durable, easy wash, go-with-everything. Street size 8-10, ordered medium (5'7"/150lbs) Waist stays put, can wear it higher or lower on hips. Works with boots/tights or strappy summer sandals. Only thing I would change is length...currently hits mid-knee (frumpy), would prefer it couple inches shorter or longer. Will be hemming mine to top of knee for more updated look.

Sizing Runs Small!

Arc'teryx Alibi Short - Women's

Arc'teryx Alibi Short - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 June 1, 2009

I wear either an 8 or 10 (medium). I ordered both sizes just to be sure - returned both for being small! While I could get the size 10 on, the thighs were too narrow for active comfort. Order up at least one size, maybe two if your legs are muscular. Appear to be very well made, nice fabric.

Two Arroyos - Buyer Be Advised

Mountain Hardwear Arroyo Skirt - Women's

Mountain Hardwear Arroyo Skirt - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 June 1, 2009

Mountain Hardware has two versions of the Arroyo Skirt out at this time. This one is the shorter version with a canvas trim strip running down each thigh. Definitely sporty and active looking, where the other Arroyo is simpler and about 1.5 - 2" longer.
