This is a nice tank, it fits loosly around your trunk and gathers at the bottom. Plenty long enough to stuff under your harness or cover your mid-section during activies that require a lot of bending. The tank fits true to form, 5'7" 135 and a medium is perfect. Enjoy it, I did so much I'm buying a second color.

Great fitting pant. Slightly scratchy on the material but durable considering the lighter weight. So many ways to adjust the waist. Fixed snap & zipper closure with drawstring back up. Also provides for those who need a belt with real belt-loops surrounding the entire pant. With that design you could buy large for the cooler months and layer and always be able to cinch up the waist if they get sloppy in warmer weather. These pants do run a size small (like most North Face bottoms) At almost 5'8 @ 140+ I wear the size 10 regulars. The regular length inseam of 32" works okay but if you're a true 5'8" or taller go for the longs. Even with the material not being cotton I'm diligent to always air dry in fear of shrinking.

Already have two pair and just ordered a new pair today (trying the longs). Note: These are not a tight fitting pant but are not loose either. They do not have a gusseted crotch but double seamed for some extra width in the leg. They probably hike like a dream (but who does that?). Okay for climbing as the waist doesn't slip with the harness and there is still enough movement in the legs.

Fantastic short! At just over 5'7" & 135 lbs the (M) short comes to my knees which is preferred because I don't weigh 105 pounds nor am I 25 years old. The longer short provides the coverage I seek and is comfortable under my harness.

Adjustable waste with draw string. Low profile pockets perfect for lip goo, topos or hair tie.

Already have 2 pairs, thinking of buying more before they discontinue.

I'm a size medium just under 5'8" and around 140. I was nervous about the sizing so I ordered both a medium and large.

I swim in the large - flat too big.

The mediums fit nicely along the waist which provides button/snap closure along with a tie if you need to cinch it up a bit. Length is spot on and long enough to come to your shoes and also provides tie closure for windy days.

Durable fabric, slimline pockets and flattering fit. It's possible that the semi-low rise would cause a problem with a harness, but these days... doesn't everything?

I'm in the process of exchanging my large for a different color of medium.
