Great bag for the traveler.

Oakley 10 Gallon Tank Bag

Oakley 10 Gallon Tank Bag

Rating for this product: 5 June 18, 2009

I purchased this bag because I was going to go out of the country to travel. After purchasing and before leaving out of the country; I went camping and thought it was the perfect time to "test" it out. I received the bag a couple days prior to the trip and found that it's very durable and is pretty good size; not too big, not too small. I went camping for the weekend and the bag might've been too big for the weekend. (I only took 2 days worth of clothing and no extra gear, so it was sort of overkill to take the bag in the first place)

I then went to Japan for 10 days and I took about 5 days worth of clothing with me. That was when I truly discovered the bag's true capacity. The bag was filled to the brim and still didn't feel bulky at all. The shoe compartment on the side is also a very helpful feature. After arriving in Japan, I left my laundry in the compartment so that it's separate from the other clean clothes, yet still easily accesible. The bag is big yet small enough to fit in the overhead compartment on the plane, so, no need to check it in. The shoulder strap is great and even though you might fill the bag, the combination of the shoulder strap and the padded handles evenly distribute the weight so it's not too heavy.

This bag is now my go-to bag when I go traveling and with the lifetime warranty that Oakley has with their products, it's a great value.

In short, even though it might be a little pricey you have the Oakley name behind it and I HIGHLY recommend this bag for any traveler and/or camper.
