Coleman F1 PowerBoost Stove

Coleman F1 PowerBoost Stove

Rating for this product: 5 June 15, 2009

I have two of the canister style stoves. The Coleman F1, is a little bigger than the other, BUT, it preforms almost like my kitchen stove! As a test, I boiled 1 1/2 quarts of water long enough to boil 6 hotdogs, and then made mac-n-cheese ! Kept a roiling boil without any problem, ( in fact i had to keep turning the fire down, kept boiling over if i stopped stirring ) ! Very stable with a 2 1/2 quart pot on it.
The Coleman F1 has a wider flame area which provides more even heating on larger pans. Even car camping, I like this F1 better than my old Coleman white gas stove. I love this little stove!
I used the small canister of fuel, cooked two full meals and still have about 3/4 full canister. The pot supports lock into place and grip the pot/pan very well.
