Eagle Creek Vagabond Messenger Bag - 398 cu in

September 16, 2009

Assume you are talking about the shoulder strap. I wear it over my head with the padding going from just in front of my neck to just behind, in other words it cushions the neck, but this also leaves your hands free. Don't use it as a conventional shoulder bag, it is far more flexible as an over the head bag and more secure when travelling through crowds. The rest of the bag sits on my hip. Hope this helps.

Eagle Creek Vagabond Messenger Bag - 398 cu in

Eagle Creek Vagabond Messenger Bag - 398 cu in

Rating for this product: 5 September 16, 2009

I am diabetic and find it nearly impossible to find a bag to carry my test kit, insulin etc where I can easily access it. Tlhis bag does a great job, mind you I am using the side pockets for this, but that makes the pens etc easy to reach without opening the main bag.

The shoulder strap is comfortable, leaves your hands free to access the pockets, does not have the problem of other shoulder bags where the strap is always slipping off and is very secure when travelling through crowds.

Looking forward to using it on the next trip which is why I bought it, but l have now combined a fanny pack and a backpack into this bag and it is a lot more efficient. Love Eagle Creek products and I am now using it daily instead of a purse.
