Backcountry.com Merino Zip Tee - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Backcountry.com Merino Zip Tee - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 October 26, 2009

Backcountry.com's customer service is stellar, their sizing could use some work. I ordered this because for $30 I don't mind the shirt being a bit tight in the chest (not all backcountry girls are an A cup), and the arms being saggy. Overall the shirt is super soft, cute color/cut (not boxy), and will work well as a warm layer this winter.

The North Face WindWall Glove

October 26, 2009

I know these gloves aren't water proof, but could you put a waterproof spray on these? I want to use them in the snow, but hate to ruin their look.

KEEN Hermosa Shoe - Women's

June 3, 2009

Keen's in general are a great brand of shoe, plus they last forever. I spent 3 weeks hoofing it around for hours per day in Thailand and never once did my feet hurt.

Nacho Chaco

Chaco Leather Flip Sandal - Women's

Chaco Leather Flip Sandal - Women's

Rating for this product: 2 May 28, 2009

I read the reviews and bought a size up, never owning Chacos before. I have very small 6.5 size feet. I needed a good sturdy pair of flips that wouldn't hurt my feet when on long walks. These came and the 7.0 was good lenght wise but very narrow, even on my small feet! Not to mention the "mute burnt orange" color was more like burnt nacho cheese. The leather felt nice, but after a 10 minute walk the straps had rubbed my feet raw. Overall I think for the "Cinderella" foot these shoes would be great. But no Nacho Chacos for me thanks. I returned them promptly and Backcountry.com promptly gave me a refund no questions asked.

The North Face Apex Bionic Jacket - Women's

The North Face Apex Bionic Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 May 5, 2009

I recently purchased the Apex Bionic jacket in the deep purple. After drooling over this jacket for 6 months and reading rave reviews I finally bought it from backcountry.com. BEST online buy ever! The jacket was at my door step in less than 3 days, and PERFECT. I LOVE this jacket. Water beads off like it was never there, wind can't whip through even a fraction of it, AND it is a perfect, feminine fit. (I did order a size smaller than usual). If you see someone walking down the street looking like they are in love, it's proabably me; in love with my North Face Apex Bionic Jacket.
