Bio:
I love anything to do with mountains. Trail running, rock climbing, and hiking/backpacking are my personal faves. I'm going to do some winter ascents of some CO 14ers this winter, which should be a fun challenge!

don't go for these if you have wide feet. Stick with Salomons.

La Sportiva Crosslite Trail Running Shoe - Men's
December 5, 2010
I second the above answer. These shoes hold out for a LONG time. I even put in a 4 weeks of 50+ miles a week on road. I was surprised on how well they held up, and how my body help up by not using "road shoes"
I use them in every condition, for any distance. hands down the best trail shoe in my opinion. I love the low profile, and the impact brake system does actually work (surprise considering all the fake marketing names these days). Check out the skylites for a less aggressive sole option.

The North Face Solaris 35 Backpack - 2150cu in

I would say either. I own the Solaris and would use it for both, and the Terra looks almost the same. I'd prefer the extra space, so my vote is for the Solaris.

Patagonia Storm Light Jacket - Women's
October 7, 2009
This coat is designed for warm weather use, so I doubt it will be very warm on its own. You can always layer though, and that might make it work for you.

The North Face Terra 60 Backpack - 3700-3850cu in
October 4, 2009
Nope, it's dimensions are too big packed. Even empty the frame will probably make it too tall. I have the Solaris 35 and it is just small enough to fit.

Scarpa Vision Climbing Shoe -2009
September 29, 2009
I'm looking to buy my first pair of climbing shoes, and i'm pretty sure it's going to be these. I'm just wondering how to size for them. I'm looking for a moderately aggressive fit, and i wear a 10/10.5 in Salomon. Any suggestions?
