The North Face McMurdo Down Parka - Men's

The North Face McMurdo Down Parka - Men's

This is the classic down jacket for cold city adventures, when you need to stay warm getting from one place to another..! It is not for backcountry activities. The hood is mostly for looks, so remember a beanie as wind will get in..

Nice, but..

Arc'teryx Covert Hooded Fleece Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Covert Hooded Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 May 24, 2009

This a nice shirt with a great feel, but too pricy for what it does or is supposed to do, which is to act as mid-layer. However using it as midlayer gets you in battle with the hood! It looks great for casual wear, but if you intend to use it under a shell etc. get the one with out a hood, or spend you dough on a sweater meant for casual wearing or with a hood designed to layer..! You can get both for the price of this one..

I got this shirt, wore it once..and then orderd another one!! I love this shirt..! Comparable to the Arteryx Covert hooded, but cooler! With thumb loops, and a hood that zips all the way up, now you decide how big your neck is..!!

great ski/light winter jacket

Norrøna Stranda Jacket - Men's

Norrøna Stranda Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 18, 2009

Got this as skiing jacket, but was soon wearing as my go to winter jacket (over -10C), long neck and wrist warmers are great for securing that no wind get in! Soft and flexible!
It has a tight fit, but you are not suppose to wear big sweaters under it, if you want to do that, go one size up!
Plugs right into the Stranda pants giving you the option of almost a one-piece suit.
I would have liked just one more pocket, but overall very happy with this!

Norrøna Lofoten Gore-Tex Performance Shell Insulated Jacket - Men's

Norrøna Lofoten Gore-Tex Performance Shell Insulated Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 18, 2009

Bought this as a warmer alternative to the Norrøna Stranda Jacket in connection with the Stranda Pant.
I love the fact that is has a high neck, so you can make sure cold wind does not come in anywhere!! It is a jacket that will keep you warm on any slope and although very flashy in the colour, I have no problem wearing a bright neon blue jacket arround town!!
