I have these pants in the green apple and orchid. The orchid is a beautiful color, but the green apple is a bit too bright for me (think kermit the frog). I wear these at home when I do my own yoga practice for the following reasons:

The waistband is a nice thin strip of plastic internally encased inside the very top of the pant's waistband. I am pear shaped and I tend to store extra cookies and pizza on the top of my butt and lower back so this thin strip gives me a muffin top if I am holding onto extra calories/water. It's like having a hair binder around my hips!

The rise of the waist sits pretty low and doesn't give much coverage to my tummy . And the divine capri fits slim through the hips and seat so if you have fuller hips, your assets will definitely be on display

The material is soft, but it doesn't do much for wicking away sweat from the groin. I sweat alot whenever I work out and so I end up with sweat marks on the front of my thighs if I wear these.

I know now that I should have just exchanged these for the next size up but I have already washed an worn them. Like I said I feel fine wearing these around the house, but that's it. I would recommend the Elisa capri if you can find them, they are a bit more relaxed in the hips and have a comfy fold over waistband that doesn't pinch at the waist.

These pants run small. I usually wear a small in pants/capris by Prana, but these hit right at my hips and tend to give me a nice "muffin top", but I just fold the waist band over and this is not a problem. The waist band is basically two inches wide and has an internal elastic band that is about a half inch wide positioned near the very top of said waistband. So if you tend to have any padding on the top of the buttocks/lower back, this tiny band is gonna press into that area and give you the muffin top effect. I would suggest that you contact Prana's customer service, and get a rep to measure the size garment (in your case a medium if you are US size 8) at the waist and rise. Take your own measurements or find a pair of yoga pants with a fit that you like and take the measurements from those pants and compare them with the measurements from those of the closest sized prana divine capris. These pants are also low rise so you won't get much coverage of the abdomen and if you have fuller thighs (i.e. pear-shaped), you may end up over advertising your pubic bone. I personally really don't like these pants myself cause I think that the sizing is weird and they are more for women with slim hips.
