The North Face Futaleufu Sandal - Girls'

After 2 weeks, I am having to return these. My 8 year old daughter kept telling me the heel closures were coming undone, so I securely fastened the velcro on both sides of both sandals as we set out for a 2 mile trail walk. Within minutes, the straps had come undone on both sandals. I love the concept and design (able to remove the back so they can be slide ons), but my daughter didn't want slide on sandals, she wanted sandals she could keep on her feet when running and being active.

Bad news is that Backcountry's return shipping policy means I am supposed to pay return shipping on this product even though it is defective. Bummer.
