got this for camping/backpacking outings this spring/summer, but have found it is so warm that I can pretty much wear it most days in the winter here in the Sacramento, Ca area as days are usually in the 50's if it is not raining.

some feathers leaking out, but not bad. i am 5'9" and 160 lbs. and medium fits great. i also got this on sale plus another $20 off with BC coupon and I consider it a steal.

great for light trail running, feel good

Vasque Velocity VST Trail Running Shoe - Men's

i have used 3 pairs of the vasque velocity in the past and have really liked them, so I ordered this new version it is much improved for my purposes. these are cooler and lighter (or at least feel that way) and seem much more cushioning, especially in the heel. the rubber is soft and i thought it might tear up on the more jagged rocks but has not. vasque shoes fit my foot and running style well and I'll continue to order them for my trailing running shoes as long as they make a quality product.
