Just Kidding KathyG. Yes I believe a Hyvent or Precip or something like that would be great for wet cold weather. Fleece is smoother than Polartec. aHair doesn't stick to it as much and I think it won't pill as easy as polartec. I still think the Poncho thing is not such a bad idea :)

You can layer it with a poncho if you'd like. I don't think that will punch a hole in the atmosphere.
