  • Stomping Grounds:

    NW Pennsylvania, Colombia, Iraq (boo).
  • Bio:

It's all about the thrill. Not many people get it. PA is boring and I can't handle my friends that are 25 and clinging onto mall jobs or career students. I can't handle it, so I've made myself a nomad. It's better that way.
Malaria, guerillas, bombs, and bullets. 60 mph downhill on my Bianchi. There's nothing more exciting than cycling through a rocket attack. I told my friend that he has giant balls for playing ice hockey and he pointed out my lifestyle as a rebuttal. I don't do it for the 'badass factor'. I do it for me - for my delusional version of sanity.
I do it because 'i haven't been there yet'.

Fantastic pants!

The North Face Paramount Convertible Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 19, 2009

I have a 33-34 inseam and the M/long fit me well. It has elastic on the sides, which I didn't like at first, but they are really comfortable. I'll accept looking like an old man to gain some comfort. These are my favorite pants so far.

Columbia Venture Convertible II Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 May 19, 2009

I have a 33" inseam and the M/34 fit me well. These are nice pants for a desert environment - light, durable (so far), and the dirt/dust/sand just kinda blends in.

Columbia Omni-Dry Limitless Convertible Pant - Men's

Columbia Omni-Dry Limitless Convertible Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 May 19, 2009

These pants are very light and comfortable in hot weather. My only complaint is that the material makes a 'swishing' sound when I walk...I feel like I should be going to the gym or something. I'm 6'3" with a ~33" waist and the 34x34 size fit perfectly.

I've been very pleased with this shirt so far. I'm 6'3" and skinny and the large fit perfectly. It hasn't shrunk at all and it's very cool on 105 degree days. The only problem is that it limits my range-of-motion (both arms straight forward).

Fantastic Shirt!

Millet Long Distance Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 19, 2009

I'm 6'3" and skinny (43' chest) and the medium was way to small. I exchanged for a large and it's pretty much amazing. It's fairly form-fitting and it doesn't limit motion like some shirts do for me. Zero shrinkage, light, and cool.

What can I say? They're sandals - they keep me out of the God-knows-what in the (individual) showers that I share with Marines.
