Amazing DO IT ALL Shoes

La Sportiva Miura VS Vibram XS Edge Climbing Shoe

La Sportiva Miura VS Vibram XS Edge Climbing Shoe

Rating for this product: 5 August 22, 2011

These shoes do everything right. I have used these on steep boulders and slabby sport climbs. The rubber seems like it wears out faster than it should. I blew out a shoe (~4 months) and several straps have tears in them which causes me to question the durability. With wide feet I cannot size down too much. Street shoe is a 9 and these are 7 2/3 (European size 40.5). Want a resole before I buy another pair as they are expensive.

Great Shoes!

Millet D. Dulac Pro Model Climbing Shoe

Millet D. Dulac Pro Model Climbing Shoe

Rating for this product: 5 August 14, 2011

Awesome shoes, they work well on almost everything. Best for steep problems. Worst but not terrible at slabby problems.
Used them for 9 months (bought around last Thanksgiving). Holding up really well. I have blown out a pair of Miuras and Evolvs in less time. I wear a 9 street shoe and bought an 9. They are tight but it is a rock climbing shoe. They will stretch a little.
How do they size?
I have a pair of Evolv Optimus Primes at 8.5 that feel really similar. I have wide feet and the small strip of rubber across the toes is great for toe cams and hooks but I think it forces the toe box to remain narrow which is a little painful on the big toe.
The best heel design and performance I have ever seen.
These shoes are great. I will surely buy another pair.

Darn good PAD

Black Diamond Drop Zone Crash Pad

Black Diamond Drop Zone Crash Pad

Rating for this product: 4 April 16, 2009

This is my first pad but I have used several others that roommates and friends owned. I have no complaints other than the foam does wear out faster than it should. A great combination of protection, size, and price. Plus, it's a Black Diamond.

Give these shoes some Jumbo Love

Evolv Prime Climbing Shoe

Evolv Prime Climbing Shoe

Rating for this product: 5 April 16, 2009

For years I have been a Five Ten man. But, after trying these out on the wall at my local store I was convinced I had to have them. They are my favorite shoes for steep boulders. I have never, until now sized up in climbing shoes. These shoes perform that well and actually are comfortable.
