  • Stomping Grounds:

Mt Hood, Ape Caves, Oregon Coastal Range, Idaho Sawtooth Mountains, Pacfic NW (Idaho, Oregon, Washington) To come Santiago, Chile and the Andes!
  • Bio:

Waking up in the morning, hearing the mountain spring, smelling the dew on the grass, and hearing the crackling of the campfire your buddy just started. That is what I live for. I live for the breath taking views that only few people see. The wildlife that rule the wilderness and when we catch a glimpse of there beauty. Exploring the unkown and having it become the known.
I try not to repeat a site until 2 years have past, it allows me to explore more or the NorthWest.

Great Light. This was the perfect light for me. I rock climb, go caving, camp, and anything else outdoors. I got lost during the day after hiking to a mountain lake, and had to find my way in the dark. This light was PERFECT!! The spot light is bright and the flood lights are great around camp. I use it all the time, and my friends are jealous, and some have even bought one for themselves.

Perfect sandal for everything.
I am a fly fisher, hiker, kayaker, and everything else. I have used these sandals to hike up to mountain lakes with a tube and gear on my back. I use them while wading in streams, and I have used them on day hikes. They are very comfortable, durable, and light.

Best Day/Weekend Camp Pack Out There

Osprey Packs Kestrel 38 Backpack - 2200-2300cu in

Osprey Packs Kestrel 38 Backpack - 2200-2300cu in

Rating for this product: 5 April 21, 2009

I have used this pack on 5 trips so far. Ranging from 10 mile hikes to 3 day camp trips. This pack does it all. It is durable, fits a lot, and is very flexible to your size. I had to pack a tent, pad, bag, food, dishes, clothes, and a tarp in this pack and didn't notice at all. It even comes with its own rainfly and on one hike it was a downpour and this kep my camera and everything dry.
Best pack for the size and price. GET ONE!

The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Men's

April 20, 2009

I am 5' 10" and 140 lbs, I ordered a medium and it was huge, bulky, and went over my hands. I returned it for a small and it fit perfectly. I have used it as a layer under a rain jacket and it was perfect.
Hope that helps.

The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Men's

April 20, 2009

No, but if you wear a long sleeve shirt underneath it you don't feel the wind. It is like any other fleece that is not made with a wind-protector. I have been in the wind and you do feel it, but if you wear a long sleeve shirt, you are good to go.

Columbia Pagora Mid Omni-Tech Shoe - Men's

April 20, 2009

I have worn these boots on five 10+ mile hikes in the past month. I would recommend breaking them in before your first hike. Wear around the house and such. But I have only great things to say about these boots. Hold up prefectly and even though they are mid high, they have great ankle support.

Perfect for a base layer and more

Great jacket.
Does run on the big size. I ordered a M and it was huge, returned it for a S and it was perfect (5' 10'' & 140 lbs). I would recommend that you where a long sleeve underneath it because it does not block wind, but NO regular fleece does unless it has different fabric in it. Keeps you warm and I have worn it as a base layer and it is PERFECT.
