Versitle Powder Ski

Icelantic Shaman Alpine Ski

Icelantic Shaman Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 April 2, 2009

I was lucky enough to try these sks while taking a trip to Big Sky, Montana for their biggest snowfall of the year, and in the powder setting these skis truly come into their own. With a wide base, massive nose, and excellent side cut these skis ruled the powder from start to finish, easily allowing me to make large floaty turns that felt more like flying than actually skiing. I'd have to say that the only downside to these skis is a slight tendency to be difficult to turn on the groomers, but not enough to make it unpleasent, and once you get used to it, it's really not a big deal. Overall a great powder ski that shines on the deep days but is still versitle enough to be taken out almost any time. 5/5 9/10
