The North Face Ultra 104 GTX XCR Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 December 2, 2009

I bought these shoes for this past summer, when I backpacked across Europe for 7 weeks. These shoes are awesome for light hiking. I wore them for the rough 10 km hike of Cinque Terra and my feet weren't even tired at the end it. IMO, they are a little heavier than I like for running, but they definitely offer a lot of support, even for 5+ mile runs. Like others have said, they get a little warm. My feet start to sweat when I wear them about 65° F, but they're great winter shoes. The 104s have done an excellent job at keeping my feet dry when it rains. My only problem is that I was caught in an extremely heavy downpour in Venice and these shoes filled with water. Since then, they've had an odd smell, but I blame the Venice water more than the shoes. All in all, excellent light hiking shoes and good winter running shoes.

I'm a ridiculously skinny guy at 6'1 and 143 lbs. What size do you think would fit me best?
