Rating for this product: 5 March 23, 2009

If you have fat skis and are a 92-pound munchkin like me, the 12.0 free is great! There's no other binding that is as light, uncluttered, starts at a DIN of 3, and comes with a wide brake. (The Salomon 10 ti would be great, too, but, unlike the z12, Salomon only packages it up to a 90mm brake - above that, you have to purchase a wider brake.)

The 12.0 free also has a 'soft' step-in function that makes it easy to get back into the binding if you crash in very soft snow.

I know that other reviewers have complained about the durability of this binding, but this is my second pair in 3 years and I've never had a problem.
