Volkl Mantra Alpine Ski

Thanks for your advice. Do you or does anyone have any thoughts about how the Salomon Sentinel stacks up to the Mantra. At a high-level, reviews and such suggest the Sentinel is a bit more turn-friendly on hard snow and the Mantra a bit more stable. The slight rocker in the Sentinel would give it s a boost in powder, I imagine.

Volkl Mantra Alpine Ski

Need some advice. I'm 5' 9", 175 lbs and ski fast and aggressively all over the mountain, usually in Utah. 177 or 184? Presently on Salomon X-Scream Series 178s and looking forward to a meatier ski for pow and hard-pack.

K2 Apache Outlaw Alpine Ski
March 22, 2009
I'm an expert looking to replace my Solomon X-Scream Series 179s, a great ski except for powder 6"+. Looking at Volkl AC50, K2 Apache Outlaw and the Solomon X-Fury or Lords. Ski west mountains once or twice a year and hit the powder when it's available. Realistically, I'm probably 50/50 hard snow to soft snow. Anyone have a strong recommendation among these or something else?
