Stomping Grounds:
From canoeing the swamps and springs of Florida to hiking and dropping off of the heights of the Carolina Mountains -
Bio:
By profession, I'm a banker, by hobby a computer geek, and at heart a Boy Scout. To me, nothing is as peaceful as letting the current push my canoe or kayak down stream, or equals the view and serenity while hanging from a cliff face.

The North Face Foundation 6 Bx Tent 6-Person 3-Season
May 29, 2009
Yes, and Yes to your questions. The mesh will keep out no see-ums' I have not used it in a high wind w/rain senario....yet, but I've stayed dry with the rain fly on. With out the fly, you're wide open to rain as the entire roof is mesh. There are pockets in the tent, sufficent for basic needs and there is a loft available for this tent as well. Very nice, is worth every dollar I've spent on it....saw your reply as I logged in to buy the footprint....I would strongly recommend getting the footprint for this (as well as any NF tent.)
