Dakine Ski Bag

DAKINE Concourse Double Ski Bag

Rating for this product: 4 November 21, 2006

I ordered the Dakine Concourse Double Ski Bag for an upcoming trip to Colorado. It looks plenty sturdy with nice sized wheels for rolling through the airport. The bag is well padded, so I'll be able to get away with not using my customary towels/old baby blankets to wrap the skis. In addition, there are straps inside the bag to hold the skis from moving around during transport. Obviously, I do not know yet how the bag will hold up to baggage handlers, but I feel fairly confident that it'll travel pretty well.

Plenty of space to stash a change of clothes and ski gear. As I bought this pack for my husband, it's a comfortable fit for him (he's 5'9"). He especially appreciates the diagonal ski carry straps. Makes carrying our 6 year old's skis easy. The quick release on the ski straps is handy too; I can easily pop the quick release and take the skis off the pack for him.

Fabulous ski pants. I wore these yesterday skiing in the cold pouring rain in northern New Hampshire. They kept me nice and warm and absolutely dry - even when sitting on the very wet lift. Also wore these while skiing in Colorado powder. Fabulous there, too. I would highly recommend these to anyone who skis in cold or wet-cold conditions.
