The North Face Foil Thermal Jacket - Women's

The North Face Foil Thermal Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 September 24, 2009

This jacket is adorable and super easy to move around in, but no, Nicole, I wouldn't wear it in -4 degree weather all by itself. The sleeves are not down filled, they're some stretchy, not very warm fabric. It is also not waterproof. Still, I adore mine, I bought the White, size small. Fits nicely (5'1", 120) and is quite warm enough for my purposes (lowest temp I've worn it in so has been about 30 F, but I haven't owned it for a winter yet).

The North Face Venture Jacket - Women's

The North Face Venture Jacket - Women's

I bought the brown in Medium so I could layer underneath. After having worn it, I probably should have gone with a Small (5'1", 120 lbs) and still could have fit a ton of layers underneath. Still, I can deal with the Med. Definitely waterproof enough for my last use, but I haven't yet worn it in a real downpour. Will update on that. Love that the hood and sleeves tighten down.

Great, but careful if you're petite

The North Face Mako Hydration Backpack - Women's - 730cu in

The North Face Mako Hydration Backpack - Women's - 730cu in

Great size and weight, just the right amount of storage room. Love the magnetic mouth piece. Only gripe is that since I'm small (5'0"), the chest strap hits at an awkward spot and the pack rides up when I walk (because it hits my hips). I solved this problem by positioning the chest strap under my chest. This seems to keep it down pretty effectively.
