The North Face Prophecy Multisport Shoe - Men's

May 15, 2008

It has been my experience that most North Face shoes fit slightly smaller than actual size. I don't own these specific shoes though. But I've owned a few other pairs and they all have been slightly small for their size. By slightly small, I mean not quiet .5 size difference. Maybe about a .25 size difference, if that makes any sense.

With room to spare

Kelty Gunnison 4 Tent 4-Person 3-Season

Kelty Gunnison 4 Tent 4-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 5 September 9, 2004

This is fantastic tent. I must state that I have only used it car camping, but it worked great. Don't let all the mesh fool you. When you put the rain fly on (I love that it covers the whole tent!) you have privacy and comfort, and still have air circulation due to the vestiblues. Under heavy rain, the rain fly did seem to trap moisture inside, but if you use the tension cords (is that the right name?) it should keep it from dripping in the tent. I am very pleased with this tent. It is suprisingly light weight for how large and roomy it is.

Very good for mild camping

The North Face Blaze Sleeping Bag: 20 Degree Polarguard

The North Face Blaze Sleeping Bag: 20 Degree Polarguard

Rating for this product: 3 August 25, 2004

This is a very good sleeping bag, as long as the weather isn't too cold. I have used it half a dozen times now, and I am a little disappointed that it doesn't keep me as warm as I expected. Also, it is pretty roomy around the shoulders, but there isn't much room around the hips. I'm one who likes his personal space, so maybe I'm just being picky, but I just wish it were a bit roomier. Otherwise, I am very happy with it.

Excellent sleeping pads

Therm-a-Rest BaseCamp Sleeping Pad

Therm-a-Rest BaseCamp Sleeping Pad

Rating for this product: 5 August 9, 2004

This is the first self-inflating sleeping pad that I have bought, and I love it. I was surprised how comfotable it is to sleep on. These are great sleeping pads for car camping, which I do more than not. They do not come with a bag or strap or anything, but I just use some webbing sinch-straps and that works fine for me.
