I have been fortunate enough to own one of these jackets for about a year now and can say with honesty that it is amazing. First of all, the fit is superb; a good athletic fit with great seams, pit-zips, and a wonderful hood. The jacket sheds water very well, and is incredibly light. This hammock is amazing. Everyone you know will want one as soon as you whip out your doublenest. It's so light and durable, packs down small, and comes in great colors. For the price, you can't beat it. Get one.

I snagged a pair of these while I was in Alaska, and I've worn them so many times I'm surprised they haven't fallen apart; which makes me love them more. So comfortable, wicking, breathing, etc. Get a pair.

I've had these for about three weeks now, and so far I've worn them almost every day. So light, fast drying, and durable. I've hiked in them, been to a Dave Matthews show in them, swam in them, and ran around town in them. Awesome pair of shorts. They look great too.

Used this bag on top of Mt. Leconte in the Smokies this past week at around 18 degrees one night. Kept me warm. I am very pleased with this bag, and at the price, it is a sweet deal.

Great little stove. So light and durable, fits anywhere and fires up nice and clean to boil water fast. I love this little baby.

This cookset is pretty nice. I bought just the cookware separately though, and went out and grabbed a MSR Pocketrocket. The MSR fuelcan conveniently fit inside of the cookware to save some space. It seems to hold the heat well, and boiled water fairly quickly.

Snagged this pack at a great price, and stuffed it full of things for my trip to the Smokies. The pack is comfortable, and has all the features that a guy needs in a weekend pack.

Marmot continues to make great stuff. This tent is light, easy to set up and has some sweet features. The rain fly makes a great vestibule to keep some of your gear out of the elements, and the tent itself has two windows and a gear loft. Love it. Great deal.

This is my first purchase of a Marmot product, and I have to say that I am impressed by the quality of this pullover. It is very soft, and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend. Unfortunately the Large I bought was a bit big for me. (5'11 165lb) Get a medium if you are in this range. Overall a great fleece pullover.

At just over 10 bucks, this beanie is a steal. Looks great, feels great, and is made of some of the best materials you can get. Awesome product.

Wow. This shirt was a great buy. I am 5'11, 160 pounds, and I bought a medium, which fits me perfectly. It is nearly as warm as a sweater, but much more functional. It wicks well, and is so comfortable and good looking enough to wear around the house and town. This purchase is one of my favorites from backcountry so far. Awesome.

These pants seem to be pretty tough. They aren't the greatest in the comfort category though. But for a man, these jeans will do the job without a hitch.

This beanie really does the job. It kept my head warm from crazy wind for three days on a backpacking trip in Alaska. Beware though, you will have some major hat hair!

I somehow bought the version of these pants that do not convert into shorts. I am not at all dissapointed though, because these pants are great. I just got back from a 3 day backpacking trip into the White Mountains of Alaska, and wore these pants throughout the trip. They are light, but kept my legs warm, and are pretty tough. I hiked through a lot of low brush and these pants went through them beautifully. They are also somewhat water resistant. Overall, I recommend these for hiking or backpacking because they are great for manuevering through trails and climbing some sweet mountains.

I don't have any complaints about this tent. It is super easy to set up, roomy enough for me, has a nice little vestibule, super light, and looks pretty cool too!

Got this shoe at a pretty good price compared to other shoes in the same category. So far, it has held up pretty well and is extremely comfortable. Looks pretty decent too.

Got this one in black. I've used it several times during short hikes and it works well. Mainly used around the campus and is always comfortable.

I really like this piece of clothing for backpacking or hiking a good trail. Wicks moisture and looks great too.

This jacket is amazing. I got it in on a rainy day, and immediately got to try it out in the rain and 45 degree weather. It kept me warm, and completely dry. Absolutely love this jacket. Great for running in cool weather because of the stretchy material.

This jacket is pretty well made along with most Columbia products. It is very good in the rain and will keep you pretty warm with the fleece liner. It is nice on warmer days to take the fleece out and use the outside jacket as raingear or just as a windjacket. Overall, recommended at this price.

Really can't say anything bad about it. I use it while hiking, running, working out, etc. It dries quickly and is very soft. Be sure to order a size down from your normal shirt size. I ordered a large at first, which was alright, but this shirt is meant to stay close to the skin, so I ordered a size down. Thanks backcountry!
