Pretty bulky

Mountainsmith Borealis AT Camera Pack

I had been looking for a good pack with a vertical tripod carrier for some time, and this seemed the closest match to what I had in mind. Didn't need a laptop sleeve for my hikes, but figured it wouldn't hurt for travel. It seems like a well-made, comfortable pack... but it also seems like there's a bit of unnecessary extra padding and material which adds to its weight. For me (5'5" female) it's also HUGE -- for what it holds, it's much, much bigger than I would like. If I were a 200-lb man it might be fine, but as it was, I had to return it. I searched some more and found my perfect fit with a Lowepro pack.

Patagonia Amaia Dress - Women's

June 29, 2009

I'm usually a small, typically between a 4-6 in jeans. I went for the 6 in this dress and it fits nicely. I might have fit the 4, since the straps are a little roomy for me (I'm smaller on top), but 6 fits well enough that I'm not returning it. Its fairly slim-fitting, but wraps around in front as well. I love it!

Patagonia Margot Dress - Women's

Patagonia Margot Dress - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 June 29, 2009

Wonderfully comfortable in the heat, and flattering, too. Wore all day in humid 90 degrees, and got so many compliments from friends and strangers alike who wanted to know where I bought the dress. I'm usually a size small/4-6, but for this dress I fit the extra small best. Being rather flat-chested (34B), the straps were actually a little roomy, but not enough to complain about or "cause a scene."

Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultra GTX Trail Running Shoe - Women's

June 22, 2009

I have a relatively narrow heel, average toe width. I found the heel on this particular shoe to be too roomy for me and had to send it back before ever getting on the trail. My heels would come up off the footbed if I stood on my toes. Salomon's XA Comp 3 of the same size fits me much better, more snug in the heel (I have worn through both the regular and GTX model and I loved them both!).
