Burton AK 3L Continuum Jacket - Men's

March 15, 2009

Which style of JAcket is Back Country shipping. I want the Rider Fit, not the Sig Fit or the Slim Fit. I tried on this jacket at a local shop (They wanted full price) and the Sig Fit just isn't big enough for me (I tried on an XL).

Ride CAD Snowboard Binding

Ride CAD Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 4 March 10, 2009

So I stopped buying Burton a while back when I realized that you where paying more just for the name. To compare I had Burton Missions and P1's in the past. (All where pretty good). My wife bought me these bindings back in January and I've used them about 6 times since then. They are so adjustable it's sick. But that can also be the drawback, There are so many little tweaks that I spent the first day going back to the tuning bench and changing the gas pedal, or adjusting the toe caps, or altering the tilt...Frankly it pissed me off. That being said, once I got them dialed in, they've been great. If you have been riding on sucky bindings, you'll be in for a shock at how different they will feel and respond. I would say if you are really into customizing your stance and riding style go for these, otherwise goe with a lesser priced model like the SPi. Overall I'm pretty happy.
