Good jacket for the money

The North Face Expansion Triclimate 3-in-1 Jacket - Men's

The North Face Expansion Triclimate 3-in-1 Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 March 9, 2009

Quality front zipper, wish the pocket zippers closed at the bottom of the pocket, not the top. Nice that it has a powder skirt inside (but I dont use it). Wish the outer shell had more inside pockets, and liner had zip pockets, and more pockets inside and out. Liner attaches at bottom of sleeves and at neck, pretty easy to put in or remove. Got too hot at about 25 degrees F when skiing at Stratton, VT and removed the liner, was comfortable then. Wish the jacket had pit zips to help vent heat on warmer days. Skied wearing jacket at Mount Tremblant about 10 degrees F and was pretty warm. Might not be good for colder temps. "Large" pocket on inside of shell decent, but wish it was big enough for a pair of gloves. Good water resistance, and well made.
