These are the second pair of Columbia shorts that I've purchased that have a strange and unexpected fit. I'm 5'9 and wear a size 10. I ordered 3 pairs of shorts all size 10 and so I know that these run small (thus the 3 star rating). They do have a low rise (I ordered 10x8 in brown) and they do not stretch at all so I won't be wearing these hiking or anything. I will however, be wearing them around town because they do look tailor-made sassy and sexy. When I first put them on I was thinking "oh, these are going back" but when I looked in the mirror I thought "HOT" so I'm keeping them.I just hope that I will be able to ride in the car with them on because I'll have to sit down.

I L-O-V-E these bermuda-lengthed shorts. I ordered the Steel/Greige Stripe and wish that I'd ordered the Chocolate/Port Stripe before they ran out of my size but I missed out!
I have thick athletic thighs, relatively narrow hips and a round bottom (I wear a size 10 and am 5'9") and always, always have problems finding shorts that fit both my hips and thighs without being tight. If the hips fit, the legs are generally tight and if the legs fit, the shorts are falling off of my hips---frustrating! These shorts are great in all areas, especially the thighs, because they're roomy enough to allow total freedom of movement but not at all sloppy baggy. They're still slightly big around my hips but not so much that it's annoying.
So, if you usually find most shorts too tight in the thighs, give these a try. I think that you'll love them as much as I do.

When I saw this top, I was so excited because I thought that the fit would be generous and that it would be loose and tight in all the right place but I was sooo wrong.
I am 5'9" with an athletic build, my chest is a 38D and usually wear a size 10 (L in most tops and if they stretch a bit, a M.) I ordered a medium instead of a large because this top seemed to run large on other folks, not me.
It was extremely tight around my chest and mid-drift (it has zero stretch, except for a tiny bit around the neck and arm holes) and huge around my neck and the arm holes. I thought about ordering a larger size but decided not to because the arm holes and neck would really be huge. It just didn't work for me so I decided to send it back.

I'm very short-waisted and so these shorts hit my waist a full 3 inches above my navel. Not good for me. If you have a long torso, you'll probably love these shorts but if you don't or you prefer a shorter rise, these aren't for you. Otherwise, the fit is really good. I'm 5ft.9in. and usually wear a size 10 and so I went with the medium. I have large athletic thighs, a pronounced booty and they fit very well in these areas. I also have a 34.5 in. inseam which makes them hit mid-thigh on me. I'm keeping them because I like the fabric, they're cool and comfortable, keep moisture away from my skin and dry quickly when I get them wet.

A Complete Waste Of $$$! I bought this specifically for cycling because it is a 22oz size. This bottle leeches a horrible plastic taste that corrodes water after only 20 minutes in very cool weather; I can't even imagine what the water will taste like in hot weather. Don't waste your money on this one because even though it is BPA Free, whatever you put in this container will surely taste like oily plastic! Disgusting! I also own the Narrow Mouth Tritan 32oz bottle and it's great; no funny tastes at all but it's too big for my cycling holder.

I really like these pants. I needed some comfortable, affordable chinos and I definately hit the mark with these. They are true to size with a slightly relaxed fit. I am 5'9" and wear a size 10.

I ordered all 3 colors because of the reviews that I read and find that each color has a different fit but nothing too shocking. The Sage color seems to have the longest inseam length while the British Tan seems to have a roomier waist line. The Stone is light khaki and not white as it appears to be online with the same fit as the Sage color except for the inseam. I'm thinking that Sage is a 34" inseam while the others are 33"?

I usually buy pants with a lower rise because I am very short waisted and was surprised at how high the waist is on these. But I think that while hiking and fishing, I'll be glad that the waist is high---no "plumber" issues when bending over or sitting down and no gap in the back at the waist. They're made to accommodate a rounder bottom. The back of the pants have traditional chino slit pockets in just the right place. Did I mention the buttoned "coin" pocket on the front right side? Fantasic! The SPF 15 rating is also a bonus.

Over all these are great pants--well made, reinforced seams and timelessly designed. I look forward to wearing them stylishly for years to come!
