Not ski gloves

Outdoor Research Alti Glove

Outdoor Research Alti Glove

Rating for this product: 5 May 28, 2009

These are not ski gloves! These gloves are great for mountaineering, they offer great dexterity for placing anchors and rope work and provide great warmth if you are actively using your hands, that said they will do nothing for you if you if you stationary for periods of time.

The North Face Hero Triclimate Jacket - Men's

May 13, 2009

It will keep you warm if you are using it for an aerobic activity like skiing or winter hiking, but it you would be in a situation where you would be out in the cold and not moving for periods of time (i.e. mountaineering) the insuilation might not be enough. Basically it's great down to about 20 F anything colder than that and i go with a down jacket.

Marmot CWM EQ Sleeping Bag: -40 Degree Down

May 11, 2009

I'll be traversing the Whites this winter and need some more specs on this bag. What are the dimensions of the bag when it is stuffed? I'll be using a Arcteryx Khazri 55 Backpack and need to know if this bag will fit in that pack before I buy it.
