Great parka but returned for the MH Sub Zero parka

Mountain Hardwear Downhill Down Parka - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Downhill Down Parka - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 20, 2009

The parka would be great for the ski hill as the outer shell is very waterproof and would keep out the wind. However, I was looking for a down parka for more gneral use and went with the Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero parka which is great!

Very nive and very warm. The parka is a longer lenght than the jackert and works better for warmth; the zipper is fine and works great; the pockets are great; the hood is very nice and had no problems with the snaps; and the jack is very well made and is very nice!

The North Face Talkeetna Acclimate Parka - Women's

The North Face Talkeetna Acclimate Parka - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 29, 2004

Very nice double layer all-season jacket that lives up the The North face name; the liner jacket is very nice as a solo! Prairie green color was perfect match with the grey.

Pivotal 60

The North Face Pivotal/Catalyst 60 Backpack - 3700cu in

Rating for this product: 5 July 1, 2004

I just got back from a short 4 day trip this weekend using the pivotal 60. It was amazing--I had previously been using a fifteen year old Kelty external frame. There is absolutely no competition--when going up inclines the pivotal suspension moves perfectly with your hips keeping the pack from annoyingly shifting from side to side. While not the lightest pack, I highly recommend it for its comfort level.
