  • Bio:

I love the outdoors. Camping, Hiking, and winter sports are the best types of activities. When I can't get into the great outdoors I try to keep myself in shape for those activities by running, weight lifting, and mental training. I strongly believe half the battle is mental and physical.

The North Face Alliance Jacket - Men's

The North Face Alliance Jacket - Men's

I got this jacket at the end of the winter beginning of spring season and a nuptse down jacket for the liner. There were a few colder rainy days in very early spring and it helped repel the rain great. And with the zip-in capabilities it keep me very warm. I then went to Virginia for a weekend and it was idle for the humid and breeze climate there. Being able to open the armpit vents was great. The only thing that I would change would be longer sleeves, but I have long arms compared to my other sizes. All and all a great purchase.

Traveling Pack

JanSport Odyssey Backpack - 2350cu in

JanSport Odyssey Backpack - 2350cu in

Rating for this product: 5 April 13, 2009

I original purchased this backpack for my trip to Europe. While I was in Europe it worked wonderfully. Perfect for carrying all my gear for the 3 day trip to Paris I took, but also versatile enough to story with day trip gear. The many pockets made it very easy to separate the different items and size of items. The main pocket was good for extra layers and larger items. the pocket with internal pockets is perfect for smaller items. Then the additional side holders helped with water bottles. With the long days of site seeing the hydration adaptability came in handy.

After the trip to Europe, the Odyssey became my everyday pack and carries all my gear, from computer to clothes to school books. Even though it doesn't have a dedicated laptop holder, it still works well. And no matter the load, the straps and waist belt help distribute the load allowing for a longer comfort on those long days hiking, site seeing, or going to and from class.

I liked this pack so much I am thinking about getting a second for my fiance. You will not be disappointed in this backpack. Definitely get a high quality item for a good price.

I have an older verison of this pack, but it has lasted my 3+ years. Great durability, lots of storage space and great features. This pack will last you many years. I have used it on trips to Europe, carrying school books, and day trips to the gym and the outdoors. Looking at getting a second one for my fiance.

Aviators with some edge

Oakley Crosshair Sunglasses - Men's

Oakley Crosshair Sunglasses - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 April 13, 2009

I always wanted to get a pair of aviator sunglasses but I never liked the size of the lenses. These sunglasses have a much sleeker cut and fit much better. I have the Ducati edition and the lens block out all view through and mirror for outside viewers. The padding on the nose and sides provide comfort for long days in the sun. When they are on they stay in place with well, so if using during a lot of activities. And for the 80's Top Gun Fan... These "can be my wing man anytime." - Iceman (Val Kilmer)

Oakley Crosshair Sunglasses - Men's

I have had mine for about 4 years as well and they are still in great condition. They made it through a trip to Europe and a lot of hiking and day tripping. Great pair of sunglasses.
