Hestra Army Leather Patrol Glove

Hestra Army Leather Patrol Glove

Rating for this product: 5 March 2, 2009

I've skied with these in -25C weather (-13F), but if I kept these under my sleeves, my hands actually stayed warm, which is remarkable for a non-mitten. by the way I was wearing a TNF jacket.
It IS true that its not easy to tuck these back under your sleeves on your own, but when its that cold, you're better off waiting until you're indoors before taking the gloves off.
Having said that, if its not that cold, like -15C or more (5F+), you wont need to keep them tucked under the sleeves, and its fine, the gloves still cover the wrist fine and they're very warm but I guess you wont be "sealed off" from the elements, ie, if you fall or something maybe you'll get a little snow on the wrist.
Otherwise the leather is very nice, extremely waterproof, and preserves basic manual dexterity.
