yes it would most likely fit well I wear a girls x-large and my mother who usually wears an adult small-medium can wear my jacket fine

The North Face CLR Nuptse Down Jacket - Girls'

The compatible shell is with the North Face Denali jacket I'm actually wearing it right now and they are extremely warm and comfortable. I would recommend buying one as you can wear the Denali as just a light jacket or with the down jacket to be completely warm in even the coldest winter.
