Where it everywhere...even swimming

Patagonia Morning Glory Dress - Women's

Patagonia Morning Glory Dress - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 August 4, 2009

I can't say enough great things about this dress. I wear it everywhere, including rafting. I'll wear it in the river...it drys quickly and then still looks good enough to grab dinner afterwards. I'm 5'6'' 135 and 34D...I wear a medium with a swimsuit or without a bra. It has been referred to as the river goddess dress and all of my friends want to get one!

Great river hat

Outdoor Research Oasis Sombrero Hat - Women's

Outdoor Research Oasis Sombrero Hat - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 August 4, 2009

I wear this hat for rafting. I'll jump in the water and sometimes even be dumped out of the boat, and it stays on because of the chin strap and top adjustment toggle. It folds in half and packs away when I don't want it. One note: because of the size of the brim, this hat does not work well when wearing a pack. Otherwise I love it!

Perfect for long trips

Arc'teryx Bora 95 Backpack – 5250-6040cu in

Arc'teryx Bora 95 Backpack – 5250-6040cu in

Rating for this product: 5 March 5, 2009

I've used this back on several extended backpacking trips. I can fit everything (including two bear canisters), and the pack still looks good. I wish they made the 95 in a women's version. I also have a Bora 62. I've had that pack for years and it still looks like new (with the exception of being faded). You won't be disappointed with this pack.

Goes everywhere with me

Black Diamond Bbee Backpack - 732cu in

Black Diamond Bbee Backpack - 732cu in

Rating for this product: 5 March 5, 2009

I've had this pack since 2004 (I think), and I've taken it all over the world and on all sorts of terrain. I take it on my daily hikes in the foothills in Idaho, and as a carry-on when traveling. My laptop even fits inside so I occasionally carry it for work. My only complaint is that the zipper tabs came off, but it looks like they've changed the design since I bought mine. I've given this pack as a gift numerous times.

weird fit, but soft.

Mountain Khakis Cottonwood Cords - Women's

Mountain Khakis Cottonwood Cords - Women's

Rating for this product: 2 March 5, 2009

I thought that I would love these cords because I have other Mountain Khaki pants. As other reviewers noted, the regular are (or maybe were) very short. I found that they ran large in the waist and stretched a lot and sat a bit too low for me. They are wonderfully soft, but I never wear them because of the poor fit/stretch.

work pants for women

Mountain Khakis Alpine Pant - Women's

Mountain Khakis Alpine Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 5, 2009

I love these pants. They look much nicer than my Carhartts and are softer. I wore them when working outside for an entire season and they still look great. They fit true to size (considering that this style of pant is not going to be very fitted). Great pants for work, yard work, a hike (on a dry day), or hanging around a fire!

Disappointing

Mountain Hardwear Insulated Stretch Piste Pant - Women's

Mountain Hardwear Insulated Stretch Piste Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 2 February 27, 2009

These pants don't fit well. I ordered a medium (I'm a size 6) so as to wear layers underneath and the waist is way too big. There aren't belt loops or attachments for suspenders so they are falling off my hips. That's not the worst part though...the Primaloft is coming out of the inside of the pants. My long underwear are covered with the insulation every time I take them off. Obviously they won't last long. They are warm for now though.

Winter necessity

Cloudveil Run Don't Walk Boxer Short - Women's

Cloudveil Run Don't Walk Boxer Short - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 February 27, 2009

I love these. I won't ski or even hike in cold weather without them. I also wear them under Carhartts or old jeans when doing winter shoveling or spring yard work. And they are great to sleep in at home or on a backcountry trip. They keep the butt and upper thighs warm and are soft and comfy. True to size (don't order up, you'll want them to fit well to wear under all types of pants).
