  • Stomping Grounds:

Anywhere there is an outdoor challenge.
  • Bio:

I'm from Longview Texas, which sucks for the outdoor enthusiast. I have a wife and four daughters, thats why I get up everyday. I've lived and seen some beautiful places, but the most beautiful was Alaska. Dream is to go to the amazon and hike a piece of its virgin beauty.

Asolo TPS 520 GV Backpacking Boot - Men's

Asolo TPS 520 GV Backpacking Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 2 days ago

this is a bit early for a good review, because i've only had them a month or so. but i wear them everywere to break them in and so far they have done well. the footbed is very poor is you have a high arch, but almost all boots come with crap footbeds. buy either sole or superfeet and get going. they were good and still at first but they are getting more comfortable. so far great boots, if something changes then i will let everyone know.

CamelBak Omega HydroTanium Hydration Reservoir

CamelBak Omega HydroTanium Hydration Reservoir

Rating for this product: 2 April 20, 2009

liked it at first, until i found wet spots from little pin holes around the top. beside that the lid is pretty tough to open. i would suggest that if you want an easy to fill bladder that rocks get a platy. big zip.

The North Face Tephra 22 Bx Tent 2-Person 3-Season

The North Face Tephra 22 Bx Tent 2-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 4 March 30, 2009

I give this 4 stars not because its the strongest most well made tent. I give it 4 stars because for the price it is a steal.
This tent is small and very light. Good to just pack up, go, and forget about it. Very simple and easy to assemble and disassemble. There are not any bells and whistles to it, just a practical tent. It is small though, I would say just enough room for you and all your gear, while still being comfortable. Only things would improve it would be, better stakes, and a compression bag.
