Five Ten D'Aescent Approach Shoe - Men's

These shoes are the finest "worn to the first interview with your new boss," only later that day to be used later "scaling up his house and into his foxy daughter's 3rd floor bedroom window" ! The are very comfy and allow for relatively, slab-tastic rock climbing. Best of all: 7oz lighter the Five Tennie Guides. Placing then on back of your harness is the equivalent to bringing up an extra chalk bag. If you like support go away. I Look forward to owning many pairs I go through them fast.

Answer to: "i wear a size ten street shoe how much should i downsize with"

Five Ten Project Climbing Shoe

5.10 makes shoes profoundly small. I wear street 11 to 11.5. I own pair of La Sportivas Muira's US 9.5 Eur 42.5 and they fit perfect. I sent back a pair of 5.10 Projects size US 10.5 and got a pair of US 11 Euro 44.5. I will have to send them back too as they are still wicked tight. I suggest starting at street or only a half size smaller.

Above average Shovel

Voile Telepro Shovel

I have owned an earlier generation of this Voile shovel for 20+ years. The extendable shaft makes it perfect for digging out the most glorious and extravagant snow caves. However, recently after digging some heavy snow and stiff ice I bent the shovel and it is now bogusly pliable/malleable. Can't complain too much as it has out dug my Buddies whimpy plastic shovels for over 20 years.
