The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Women's

June 16, 2009

I actually burned a hole in my roomate's North Face jacket from accidentally draping it on a heat lamp, but it was a down jacket. What she did was send it to the North Face warranty department for a repair. When she got it back you would have never known there had been a hole in it. You can find the info for shipping it to them on their website under customer service-warranty. I would say sending it to them is the way to go if you want a flawless repair, but be prepared to pay them to repair it (up to $50ish), since their "lifetime" guarantee is only for manufacturing defects.

The North Face Nuptse Down Jacket - Women's

February 25, 2009

I saw the purple one at the store and I didn't like the color it was a dark weird looking purple._________________________________________________

I just bought the igneous purple color in this coat and the purple IS dark, but I would say it is more of a dark plum color as opposed to in the picture it looks more like dark grape. REI has a better deption of the color at http://www.rei.com/product/686773, but of course it's way cheaper here! I personally love the color!

It says this jacket is water-resistant, but how well does it do when it's snowing?
