  • Stomping Grounds:

Smoky Mountains, Central Texas, the Butte
  • Bio:

I am in grad school right now at UT, so I try and get out to the smokies whenever I can. I love all things outdoors - hiking, biking, kayaking, skiing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, hunting, fishing, etc. Cheers!

Mountain Hardwear Vertical Jacket - Men's

April 30, 2009

How does this jacket compare to the Arcteryx Theta AR? I know this jacket has a powder skirt and removable hood and more interior pockets and the Theta does not, but has anyone owned or tried both of them and have any personal experience so I can get a better feel for them?

Cloudveil Zero-G Jacket - Men's

March 14, 2009

I have this jacket in Medium as well. I am 5'11'' and 185 and it fits well. A little on the snug side and the sleeves are maybe a cm too short, but I still like it. I just got it a few weeks ago, but so far It has done a good job - blocks the wind, sheds rain and keeps me warm. Try to find it on sale.
